Plot summary
Plot — The King's Royal Entertainment at Welbeck Castle (Love's Welcome)
All nature greets the King as he arrives for dinner at Welbeck. As he is about to leave, the party is accosted by Accidence and Fitz-Ale. They present a post-wedding event at which Stub the bridegroom and the six Hoods tilt at a quintain. A bride-ale follows, with eating, drinking, singing, and dancing, until an officer rebukes them for detaining the King with unsolicited merriment, and offers a panegyric of the King and royal family.
